City Began to Reconcile the 2017 Financial Statements

Jakarta Deputy Governor, Sandiaga Uno, opening the Reconciliation of Expenditure, Asset, Income, and Reconciliation of the 2017 Budget Contribution Entity (TA) at City Hall, Jalan Medan Merdeka Selatan, Gambir, Central Jakarta.

This reconciliation is done to realize a reasonable without exception (WTP) from BPK

He disclosed there are 720 reports of financial entities prepared to the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK). These reports will be combined in the form of financial statement reconciliation.

"This reconciliation is done to realize a reasonable without exception (WTP) from BPK," he expressed, Monday (1/15).

W. Jakarta Holds Financial Statement Reconciliation

He explains the reports will be submitted to BPK by the end of March 2018. Therefore, all SKPDs involved can continue to monitor the reconciliation process of the 2017 Budget Contribution Entity.

"We're asking SKPD to monitor all. I have instructed the City Secretary to ensure asset recording and follow-up of BPK's findings become one of KPI's indicators in the future," he explained.

Currently Jakarta Provincial Government has applied 100 percent of non-cash financial system. Thus, through this merging process, it will become more effective and efficient.

"This year, for the first time, we are also on time. It will close the book on December 30, at 4 PM," he uttered.
